LeBron's Physical Gifts Not Matched By Mental Toughness
The dominant seven-year rule of LeBron James suddenly transformed into an ordinary citizen deferentially serving in Miami-Wade County. He had chosen to go from king to underling.

MOCK DRAFT:
2010 NBA Mock Draft, Version 5.0
An interesting week of prevalent deception is nearly over and the actual picks are hours away. Hundreds of hours have been spent watching the 60 players that 30 teams hope will improve their club in the coming years.

Final NBA Power Rankings For 09-10
The Cavaliers were ranked first in the regular season for the second consecutive season. Following them in the top-five were the Magic, Jazz, Celtics and Spurs, while the Lakers were a surprising 11th.

PLAYER RANKINGS:
2009-10 Individual Awards
While the MVP, DPOY and ROY voting should be easy, the All-NBA teams and the other awards are more difficult to correctly determine.

The NFL offseason got a whole lot busier when free agency kicked off as Thursday night turned to Friday. Fresh off a stint in Indianapolis at the annual NFL Combine, RealGM NFL Analyst Jeff Risdon sat down with Deputy Editor Andrew Perna for our first-ever 'Talking Points' interview.

Frequent 'Talking Points' from Andrew will be forthcoming in this space, with Jeff on football, along with Christopher Reina on basketball and Nick Obergan on hockey.

AP: You have the first overall pick and want to take the best player available. Who are you taking?

JR: I take Ndamukong Suh. Having the first pick means I can’t afford to swing and miss, and Suh is as safe as any potential #1 overall pick that I can remember. Plus, I like that he can play multiple spots if I decide to change coaches or schemes.

AP: You’re the Rams and you keep the first pick. Does your selection change?

JR: Nope, Suh is still my man. If I felt like there was a quarterback worthy of the first pick I would take him, but there isn’t in this draft.

AP: Do you buy into rumors that teams at the top of the draft order will trade down?

JR: I think they’ll try, but I really don’t believe any team will want to assume the exorbitant salary. I’ve asked several people about this and nobody thinks teams want to take on that sort of financial burden with the future labor uncertainty. You might see a little movement between the teams already picking in the top six or seven, but I don’t foresee any teams jumping into that realm.

AP: How would you rate this year’s draft class in relation to recent ones?

JR: Defensively, this is a spectacular class, probably the deepest defensive line and defensive back classes that I can recall.

There is a good quantity of decent offensive linemen and second-tier wide outs, but as several people said in Indianapolis, it’s not a great year for quarterbacks or running backs or receivers, at least not top-end ones.

No Huddle: Predicted destinations for some notables

Michael Vick: Buffalo

Tim Tebow: New England or San Francisco

Brandon Marshall: New York Jets

Vince Wilfork: New England

Kevin Mawae: Minnesota

Donovan McNabb: Philadelphia

Brian Westbrook: San Diego
